Human Resources Assistant

The Institute for Behavior Change - PA

The Role of a BHT This position will begin as a 1099 independent contractor role, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time W-2 employee based on performance, business needs, and mutual fit. Responsibilities Maintaining Staffing Needs List Employee Relations & Performance Management HR Compliance & Regulatory Oversight Requests for employment/earning information forms Onboarding, Training & Development Manage employee conflict, suspensions and investigations Terminations/Resignations ACT 168 requests Annual DHS and any other audits Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Background in healthcare, behavioral health, or Medicaid environments (highly preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred) Experience within behavioral health, IBHS, or ABA service environments (preferred) Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred) 3+ years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or HR Assistant roles Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania employment laws and regulations, HR compliance, and employee relations Required Skills Strong Communication Skills Problem-Solving Skills Reliable Time Management The Institute for Behavior Change is a non-profit foundation that recruits, trains, deploys and monitors staff who deliver Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) to children diagnosed with mental health disorders. We were founded in 1997 and continue to supply highly trained staff to leading IBHS agencies throughout Delaware, Montgomery, and Bucks Counties. We have immediate work for several new BCBAs and Behavior Consultants (licensed and unlicensed) and can assign cases to you that will provide optimally challenging and rewarding professional experiences while minimizing your travel time.
