Psychometrist Location: Los Angeles, California Job Category: Professional Position Type: Full-Time Shift: Days Purpose Statement / Position Summary The Psychometrist, under the general supervision of a professional psychologist, administers, scores, and reports on a range of group and individual psychological tests, performs related duties, and may aid in research. Responsibilities Administer standardized or experimental individual tests of cognition, language, social and motor skills; use parent report measures. Record responses, score objective scales, prepare behavioral reports, and summarize case records. Maintain testing supplies, equipment records, and file newly developed instruments. Assist other staff in research and administrative duties such as data entry and grant reporting. Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience 2 years of experience in administering, scoring, and interpreting a wide variety of psychological tests. (Graduate work in psychology may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.) Demonstrated training and expertise in psychological and developmental assessments. Demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary research team and to engage in administrative duties including data entry, grant progress reporting, etc. Experience with Autism diagnostic assessments, including ADOS-2 and ADI-R (Preferred). Bilingual in English/Spanish (Preferred). Education / Licensure / Certification Bachelor's Degree in Psychology required or other major providing training in tests and measurements. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.) Pay Scale Information
