Executive Protection Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Protection Officer to provide close personal protection and comprehensive security support to the executive. This role requires a seasoned professional with exceptional situational awareness, strong planning capability, and deep familiarity with security operations in the United States. The ideal candidate has a proven track record supporting UHNWIs or C-suite executives, including extensive domestic and international travel protection experience. This position demands discretion, professionalism, physical readiness, and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic, high-pressure environments. Responsibilities Close Protection: provide close, personal protection for the executive across all environments—including residence, office, travel (domestic & international), social events, and public settings—ensuring continuous and absolute personal safety. Conduct near-proximity defense and respond appropriately to potential threats, including physical attacks, harassment, stalking, kidnapping attempts, or other hostile actions. React rapidly and effectively during emergency situations such as assaults, medical incidents, or natural disasters. Security Planning & Risk Assessment: perform advance work for all locations the executive will visit (e.g., offices, hotels, restaurants, meeting venues, private residences), including detailed site assessments, route planning, and identification of potential risks. Develop and optimize travel routes, backup plans, and emergency evacuation procedures. Continuously monitor, assess, and report potential threats. Communication & Coordination: maintain clear, discreet, and professional communication with the Executive Office, Executive Assistants, and family members (when applicable). Build and sustain strong working relationships with local law enforcement, private security partners, venue security teams, and other relevant stakeholders. Coordinate and manage supplementary security resources, including local teams or contracted personnel, as needed. Use security communication tools (e.g., encrypted radios, satellite phones), surveillance and monitoring devices, and personal protective equipment. Maintain strong cyber-security awareness and safeguard confidential information during all communications and operations. Reporting & Documentation: maintain accurate, detailed logs of daily activities, security observations, and incident reports. Prepare and regularly submit security assessments, risk analyses, and operational updates to the supervisory team. Qualifications: minimum 5 years of professional executive protection experience, with at least 3 years supporting high-profile public figures or C-suite executives in close protection roles. Extensive US-based experience and strong professional network within the United States are mandatory. Significant experience supporting international travel, particularly between the US and Asia (US–China routes preferred). Prior experience in large multinational corporations—especially within biopharma, technology, or other sensitive industries—or experience supporting high-profile public figures is strongly preferred. Valid state-issued Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit (required if carrying on duty), with demonstrated mastery of firearms safety, handling, and applicable federal and state laws.
