About The Role

If you have great people skills, excellent attention to detail, and love turning customer requests into orders, this is the job for you. This position combines sales, project management, and customer service in the fast-paced trade show industry where no two days are exactly alike.

An account manager at The Inside Track spends much of their time writing accurate estimates in response to customers’ requests for trade show flooring, then following up by email and phone to answer questions and turn estimates into orders. Once an order is placed, you’ll coordinate with production to make sure every detail is correct and everything is delivered where and when the customer needs it. Along the way, you’ll solve problems, track your activity in Salesforce, and reach out to potential new customers.

Every project is different. Sometimes, you’ll estimate flooring for standard 10’ by 10’ booths. Sometimes, you’ll estimate flooring for large custom exhibits at national or international trade shows.

While you'll inherit an established customer base, we're looking for someone who enjoys growing accounts, following up consistently, and finding opportunities to win new business.

Your Compensation

• Base salary: $60,000 – $70,000, based on experience
• Monthly performance bonus: Paid on closed sales
• Expected total compensation: $75,000 – $85,000+

Your Qualifications

• 5 or more years in account management, customer success, project management, sales, or another type of client-facing role
• Experience with CRMs (Salesforce is a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to pick up the phone and call a customer with a question or to ask for the sale, or walk over to the production team to ask a question or check on an order
• Good at working with measurements, quantities, and basic calculations
• Experience in the trade show, events, or building industries is a plus, but not required
