Requirements

Active and unrestricted Louisiana Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License.
Current CPR Certification.
Strong patient relationship-building skills and excellent communication abilities.
Demonstrated positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to teamwork and professional growth.

Job Description

Perform advanced hygiene procedures, including periodontal charting, risk assessments, and scaling and root planing.
Capture and process digital X-rays and utilize intraoral scanning technology for patient records and diagnostics.
Collaborate closely with the dentist to co-diagnose conditions and present comprehensive treatment plans to patients clearly and effectively.
Provide tailored education and counseling to patients regarding oral hygiene techniques and preventative care measures.
Maintain and adhere to the highest standards of infection control and clinical best practices.
Contribute to a positive, supportive team environment, demonstrating a proactive attitude, and assisting colleagues where needed to maintain smooth office operations.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation and records.
