Grade 4 Teacher

* Implement the instructional program as identified through the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and District's curriculum. * Maintain appropriate classroom environment with relation to discipline and student safety. * Communicate with parents and/or guardians. * Work collaboratively with administration and support staff to ensure student success. * Prepare required reports, including progress reports, report cards, and student success plans. * Maintain accurate records, including student grades and classroom attendance. * Participate in team meetings as necessary. * Maintain high academic standards. * Pursue professional development as necessary and appropriate to meet "highly qualified" standards. * Participate in committees and activities as appropriate and in conjunction with contractual agreements. * Work collaboratively with staff to plan curriculum and instruction. Compensation will be in accordance with the salary scale outlined in the Acushnet Teachers Association collective bargaining agreement.
