Solutions Sales Manager - Advanced Treatment

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Sales Manager - Advanced Treatment based in the Canada. This role offers the opportunity to drive growth for innovative water treatment solutions that address some of the world’s most important environmental challenges. You will lead business development efforts across strategic markets, helping customers adopt advanced technologies for water reuse, remediation, and contaminant treatment. The position combines technical expertise, consultative selling, and relationship management to create long-term customer value. You will work with municipal, industrial, engineering, contractor, and channel partner stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver impactful solutions. This is a high-visibility sales role where your ability to understand customer needs and build trusted partnerships will directly influence business success. You will join a purpose-driven environment focused on sustainability, innovation, and protecting essential global resources. \n Accountabilities: As a Solutions Sales Manager - Advanced Treatment, you will be responsible for expanding revenue, strengthening customer relationships, and increasing adoption of advanced treatment solutions across assigned territories. You will manage the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification through successful implementation, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver effective customer outcomes. Drive sales growth and business development activities for advanced water treatment solutions across assigned markets in the United States and/or Canada. Build and maintain strategic relationships with municipal, industrial, consulting engineering, contractor, and channel partner stakeholders. Identify customer challenges and recommend appropriate advanced treatment solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. Manage opportunities through the complete sales process, including discovery, qualification, technical evaluation, proposal development, negotiation, and closing. Partner with technical, commercial, and operational teams to develop compelling customer proposals and solutions. Maintain accurate CRM records, including pipeline management, opportunity tracking, forecasting, and sales planning. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities. Represent the organization professionally through customer meetings, site visits, industry events, trade shows, and technical discussions. Achieve and exceed sales objectives related to revenue, volume, profitability, and territory growth. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced technical sales professional with a strong background in complex solution selling, territory management, and customer relationship development. You should have the ability to combine technical understanding with commercial expertise to deliver successful sales outcomes in a specialized market. Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education, with preference for candidates with an engineering background. 10+ years of relevant technical sales and/or business development experience. Proven experience selling premium-priced products or solutions within municipal capital markets. Demonstrated success managing territories, developing sales strategies, forecasting, and achieving sales targets. Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines, opportunities, and customer relationships. Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand complex customer needs and translate them into effective solutions. Experience with UV, ozone, disinfection, or advanced treatment technologies is preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory, potentially exceeding 60% of working time. Strong business judgment, strategic thinking, and ability to collaborate with technical and commercial stakeholders.
