What You'll Do

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgeries including multiple specialty areas such as Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Robotics, and more.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and sutures during procedures.
• Set up operating rooms with supplies, instruments, and equipment per case requirements.
• Support patient transport and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures, including universal precautions.
• Monitor surgical environment and maintain proper traffic control and sanitation.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure smooth procedures and excellent patient care.

What You Need

Required:

• BLS certification via AHA
• Certified Surgical Technologist within 180 days of graduation, or LVN/LPN license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred

Preferred:

• Ability to scrub in multiple specialties including transplants, robotics, neurology, etc.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
