Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to standard protocols, including patient positioning, coil selection, and sequence setup
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, monitor for adverse reactions, and maintain infection control and radiation safety practices
- Acquire high-quality images, review for technical adequacy, and adjust parameters as needed
- Document studies in the Epic charting system; coordinate with radiologists and care team
- May assume optional CT responsibilities involving IV contrast, in which case IV injection/contrast certification is required
- Float within the department or campus as needed, within scope of MRI training and credentialing
- Adhere to NY state licensing requirements and facility-specific policies; maintain professional standards throughout the assignment

Requirements
- NY State Radiologic Technologist license (permanent) required prior to start; temporary licenses not accepted
- ARRT-MR certification required
- MRI clinical experience required; minimum two years in the MRI specialty preferred
- IV contrast/injection certification required to perform CT with contrast in NY
- Siemens MRI experience preferred (Espree unit preferred); CT capability if assigned
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to work in an outpatient imaging campus environment; willingness to float if needed within scope
- Residency/ local radius: local residency restrictions apply per facility policy (not accepting applicants within a defined 50-mile radius)
