# Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Virginia Start Date: November 18, 2026 Location: Arlington, Virginia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. No call requirement. 13-week assignment with potential for extension. Highlights: - Operate in a dynamic surgical environment with exposure to trauma, neuro, orthopedic spine, general surgery, and robotic procedures- Work with Epic OpTime (OR) electronic medical record system- Consistent Monday through Friday schedule with no mandatory call shifts- Supportive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, pharmacy, radiology, lift teams, and rapid response- 24 hours of structured orientation with comprehensive onboarding- Level II Trauma center experience strongly preferred Requirements: - Active Virginia RN license or Compact license in hand at time of application- Current BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience- Level II Trauma center experience preferred with demonstrated competency in trauma, neuro, orthopedic spine, and general surgery cases- Epic OpTime (OR) experience strongly preferred; exact start date dependent on Epic training schedule- Previous charge experience preferred- Flu vaccination required during flu season (October 1 – March 31); exemptions considered per CMS guidelines- COVID-19 vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions only Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a predictable weekday schedule and no call requirements, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional perioperative care.
