QuickBooks Bookkeeping Assistant

We are recruiting a part-time QuickBooks Bookkeeping Assistant to support our client’s daily financial recordkeeping. This position offers flexible hours and is primarily based in the Painesville office, with the possibility of some remote work.
This opportunity suits someone who enjoys organizing financial information, catching discrepancies, and keeping routine bookkeeping on track.
Responsibilities
Prepare invoices, record customer payments, and track outstanding balances.
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Enter and categorize income, expenses, and vendor bills in QuickBooks.
Organize receipts and supporting financial documents.
Generate routine reports and gather records for the accountant.
Work with management to resolve bookkeeping questions and obtain missing information.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience using QuickBooks for business bookkeeping.
Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense tracking, and account reconciliation.
Comfort using Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and reliable follow-through.
Ability to manage recurring tasks independently and maintain confidentiality.
Availability to work regularly in the Painesville office.
