Job Overview Supports the store as Manager on Duty, overseeing front‑end operations, cash handling, store cleanliness, customer experience, and team leadership. Key Attributes Customer Service Organization Productivity Ability to multi‑task Follows Direction Professionalism Trainer / Developer / Motivator Communication Sales Driver / Goal Oriented Responsibilities Ensures all associates and managers are wowing the customer through personal contact Responsible for achieving CSAT score goals provided by the District Manager Lead front‑end operations and train staff on high‑fives of customer service Guarantee that each guest has a fast, friendly checkout Maintain store cleanliness, recovery, and readiness for customers at all times Handle opening and closing store procedures Assist with front‑end operations and perform SM duties in their absence Supervise, train, coach, and develop all associates Review corporate communications and react accordingly Partner with supervisors or corporate office regarding store issues Drive store sales and control expenses Assist in payroll processes and ensure payroll stays within budget Assist in merchandising procedures, adhering to SOPs Handle cash procedures, including bank deposits and register authorizations Comply with Human Resources policies and procedures Assist in receiving, stocking, unloading, checking in shipments, staging, and packing out merchandise Drive key metrics: Sales, ADS, CSAT Scores, and Expense Control Perform store maintenance: garbage removal, sweeping, bathroom cleaning, and stock room upkeep Additional Physical Demands Frequently operate cash register Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 5‑10 feet Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock Position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor Communicate with customers on the telephone and face‑to‑face in the store; and with managers and coworkers Move across the sales floor assisting customers, as well as to and from the stock room Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent College experience preferred Minimum 1 year of management experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi‑task Creative thinking Ability to maintain composure under pressure Benefits Explore our benefits site to discover all the perks and support we offer.
