LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

DutiesYou will assist NSG by providing product support strategy policy, guidance, and training processes.You will lead statutory and regulatory logistics risk assessments to validate arrangements are consistent with the overall product support strategy.You will provide or maintain acquisition and sustainment policy and Standard Work Packages (SWPs) relative to functional responsibilities.You will develop assessment reports for programs in acquisition and sustainment as requested, scheduled or directed.You will conduct training to various audiences on risk assessment outcomes.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentMust be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (NH-02=GS 05-11) r grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following: Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  1. Preparing reports, letters and other documents for senior management review and signature.
  2. Experience working with in-depth knowledge in the twelve integrated Product Support elements.
  3. Understanding of product support strategies for achieving performance outcome goals.
  4. Experience working with or knowledge in risk evaluation of product support planning and execution.
  5. Preparing and making oral presentations to a wide range of audiences.
