Operations Support Coordinator - Oncology - Days

Hourly Pay Range: $26.61 - $39.92 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position : Operations Support Coordinator Location : Elmhurst Cancer Center - Elmhurst, IL (may also float to Plainfield and Edward-Naperville locations as needed) Full Time | 40 hours/week Hours : Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm - no weekends or holidays. What you will do: Under minimal supervision, responsible for performing insurance verification, providing patient financial counseling and performing routine audits of accounts in an effort to identify opportunities for accurate charging practices. Reviewing daily oncology charging patterns and maintaining accuracy of charges. Serving as a resource for billing and reimbursement questions. What you will need: Education : High School Diploma or GED, required . Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology or related field, preferred . Experience : 2+ years of experience in oncology prior authorization and previous insurance and managed care experience, required . Oncology and radiation oncology billing/reimbursement experience, preferred . Insurance knowledge of managed care, Medicare and Medicaid, preferred .
