Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday – 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access, support visitor processing, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations. Support alarm response, emergency notifications, and daily operational checks of assigned areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location. Minimum Requirements Proof of a high school diploma or GED. Three or more years of security‑related, military, or law enforcement experience, or an associate's degree in criminal justice. Age 21 or older. High school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Applicants with criminal histories will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Drug screen as permitted by law. Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
