Business Analyst

Business AnalystAnalyze, document, and improve the end-to-end flow of data in a research facility, adhering to standards (GDPR, GLP and CFR). Identify key integration requirements for solution design and development on multiple scientific data management applications (LIMS, ELN, Equipment control systems). Provides support and consultation for detailed design, deployment, testing and production support of these systems. Responsible for documentation specifically functional and business requirement engineering and user acceptance. Answer ad-hoc queries on datasets and manage data source intakes as the data expert/gatekeeper of data solutions. Explore continuous improvement to data solutions, by addressing data quality root cause, encouraging end users to self-serve, analyzing business requests, and implementing the changes.A must: Exposure to lab data applications as an administrator, IT skills to enhance or debug applications, Understanding of GLP/GMP Skills: Minimum 3 years of IT experience with at least 1 year of experience as an 'administrator' on scientific platforms (LIMS, ELN, LIS, Equipment control systems). At least 1 year experience in capturing and recording business requirements, functional specifications, and data mapping. Skilled in building and debugging.NET applications. Ability to work with variety of stakeholders and intake tasks on demand. Ability to work on incident reporting and resolution via ITSM tools. Bonus: Solid understanding of data principles and good manufacturing practices, CFR 21 Part 11. Prior experience in enabling lab audits via checklists.
