Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our hospital facility, where you will work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. The work environment is supportive and collaborative, focused on delivering individualized patient care. The schedule is predictable, offering day shifts from Monday to Friday, with potential to work four 10-hour shifts, ensuring no weekend commitments. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to implement and modify treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals.
• Assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises and movements, ensuring they utilize proper techniques for maximum effectiveness.
• Monitor each patient's progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary, effectively communicating any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain an organized and clean therapy area, ensuring all equipment is ready for use and safe for patient interaction.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and self-care strategies they can practice outside of therapy sessions.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a PTA at Balance Booster Rehab Center, you will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletic injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to engage with individuals of all ages, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care that addresses their unique recovery journey. Your role is pivotal in facilitating their rehabilitation and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting (PTA) from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Florida.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in an outpatient setting is preferred, though candidates with relevant clinical internships or training may be considered.
• Previous experience in orthopedic rehabilitation will provide an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 55,000 to 60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, our benefits package includes:
