Solution Architect Lead

Role Description

• Design end-to-end solution architectures spanning data ingestion, modeling, warehousing, transformation, and reporting/visualization layers.
• Produce architecture diagrams, technical design documents, and solution roadmaps that are clear to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner with project managers and engagement leads by serving as the primary technical point of contact for client stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Guide and review the work of data engineers, analysts, and BI developers to ensure solutions are built to the architected design and to firm quality standards.
• Contribute to internal capability building: reusable frameworks, accelerators, and architecture standards that improve delivery speed and consistency across engagements.
• Support pre-sales activity, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and proposal or RFP responses.
• Directly manage a team including staffing, workload balancing, and day-to-day performance management, while mentoring them on architecture best practices and client delivery standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing and delivering end-to-end data and analytics solutions, from source systems through to reporting and consumption layers.
• Hands-on experience in at least one major cloud data platform (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of data modeling approaches (dimensional modeling, data vault, or similar).
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as engagements require.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
