Mental Health Associate - Evening Shift Opportunity

This is a Full Time (32 or 40hrs/week) or Part Time (24 hours/week) position and requires working every other weekend. This position is on the evening shift and offers a full benefits package. A competitive shift differential is offered for overnights and weekends. The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on education level and years (0-20 scale) of experience. Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed private psychiatric facility located south of Boston. As a Mental Health Associate, you will:

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
• Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment
• Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors
• Assist with patient groups and activities

With proper training, you will work with culturally and generationally diverse populations to meet their individual needs. You will be trained on psychiatric group processes, age-specific care, trauma informed care, therapeutic boundaries, crisis intervention techniques, and CPR.

Qualifications requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree is preferred
• College student who have obtained or are pursuing their degree in behavioral health, psychology, or human services are preferred
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Impeccable judgment & professionalism
• Ability to maintain composure in a crisis situation
