Entry-Level Staff Accountant

We are seeking an entry-level Staff Accountant to join our client's growing accounting team in Sandy Springs. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with up to two years of accounting experience who is looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger. Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with the month-end and year-end close process. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed. Prepare account analyses and investigate variances. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Assist with fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules. Help prepare financial reports for management. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. Participate in process improvement initiatives and other ad hoc projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) . 0–2 years of accounting experience, including internships. Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with an ERP system is a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
