Internal Medicine Practice is opening a new office in Valley Stream, NY. We are looking for two experienced Medical Assistants/Scribes for a full-time positions with some scheduling flexibility as discussed during interview process. We are looking for a candidate that is mature and responsible. ***Training for 6 weeks will be in Rockville Centre location.

Candidate should:

· have experience in patient triage (obtaining chief complaint, vitals, History of Present Illness, Medical and Family History, Medication List and Allergies, etc) for at least 1 year.

· able to document in chart as appropriate for services performed

· have current BLS/CPR certification

· have blood draw and specimen collection training

· have great bedside manner and should always be courteous to patients

· available for half-days on 2 Saturdays a month

· be reliable, self-sufficient and self-starter

· be able to work in a fast-paced environment

· have great phone etiquette

· have a positive and polite demeanor

· all Medical Assistants learn how to schedule patients but won't be asked to do this on a regular basis

Position is full-time as we have multiple positions open.

We are also sourcing candidates for our office in Rockville Centre. Because office is high volume we need candidates with previous MA/Scribe experience. We can cross train the right candidate to perform charting for the provider, if the candidate only has Medical Assistant experience.
