Job Summary
A large portfolio property management organization is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a diverse commercial portfolio in San Jose, CA. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a property management professional with experience across retail, business, and industrial properties who is ready to step into a visible role with strong growth potential. The Commercial Property Manager will manage day-to-day property operations, tenant relationships, vendor performance, budgets, lease administration, and property improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Manage daily operations for a commercial property portfolio that may include retail, business, and industrial assets.- Supervise leasing and office consultants, maintenance technicians, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality property performance.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, vendor management, and operational reporting.
- Manage lease agreements, tenant relations, tenant improvements, construction projects, and modernization initiatives.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, capital improvements, and service contracts to support tenant satisfaction and asset value.
- Partner with internal teams, tenants, contractors, and ownership representatives to ensure properties operate efficiently and professionally. Compensation and Benefits - Salary range: $100,000 to $130,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage commercial property operations across retail, business, and industrial property types.- Oversee budgets, forecasting, vendor contracts, lease agreements, and tenant improvement projects.
- Supervise leasing, office, maintenance, and vendor teams to support portfolio performance.
- Coordinate modernization projects, construction activity, maintenance planning, and tenant service needs. - 3 to 5 years of commercial property management experience.
- Experience managing retail, business, and/or industrial properties.
- Strong knowledge of lease administration, vendor management, budgeting, contracts, tenant improvements, and property operations.
- Ability to supervise teams, coordinate contractors, and maintain productive tenant relationships.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced commercial real estate environment. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with a large commercial property portfolio.
- Background supporting capital improvements, modernization projects, and construction coordination.
- Proven ability to improve property operations, tenant satisfaction, and vendor performance.
- Experience working in a growth-oriented real estate or property management organization.
