Role Overview: The Office Administrator is the operational backbone of our Eureka branch - Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, keeping families informed, documentation moving, and the team supported. You'll be a calm, organized presence that families encounter from their very first interaction with us, and a dependable partner to the funeral directors and location leadership who count on you every day. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for families by phone, email, and in person, with warmth and professionalism Coordinate and process death certificates, burial permits, and all required documentation Maintain accurate records in funeral home management software Manage office and funeral supply inventory Support the location manager with administrative and operational needs as directed Qualifications: 1+ year of office administration experience required Experience in a funeral home, healthcare, or other service-oriented environment strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace Experience with billing, accounts receivable, or basic bookkeeping a plus Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Compassionate communication style and the ability to interact with families during difficult moments Discretion with sensitive and confidential information Why IFP?
