Are you a people person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a positive impact every day? We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face and voice of our community.

As the first point of contact for residents, visitors, families, and employees, you'll play a vital role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere while supporting the daily operations of our retirement community.

✅ Greet and assist visitors, residents, and employees with exceptional customer service

✅ Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner

✅ Maintain visitor sign-in logs and issue visitor badges to support community security

✅ Assist Administration by reporting potential safety concerns or security issues

✅ Perform general receptionist, clerical, and administrative duties

✅ Provide clerical support for residents and departmental operations

✅ Help maintain daily census information, including:

• Room changes
• Level of Care changes
• Move-ins and move-outs
• Resident discharges and deaths

✅ Ensure accurate tracking of resident information for billing purposes

✅ Support Accounts Payable functions or learn Accounts Payable processes as needed

✅ Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

• Previous office or receptionist experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
• Experience in a retirement community, healthcare, or senior living environment preferred

Skills & Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Strong typing skills
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanor
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
