Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Bilingual Hospital Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. In this healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate professionally with healthcare personnel, patients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
