In this role, you will support the legal team with contracts, compliance and focusing on improving and developing different processes and initiatives. - Review and summarize key clauses in existing agreements and identify potential risks and provide improvements
- Assist with compliance and reporting under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline and ensure deals align with company policies and guidelines
- Conduct research on intellectual property rights in government contracting, export controls (ITAR/EAR) and other relevant regulations impacting aerospace and defense operations
- Help create or refine standardized contract templates
- Support the legal/compliance team with the maintenance of contracts
- Completion of 1L Law School Contract Course (required)
