Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage daily accounts
receivable activities, ensure accurate and timely customer payments, and
support month-end financial reporting. The ideal candidate has experience with
invoicing, cash applications, account reconciliations, collections, and
advanced Microsoft Excel functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and maintain customer invoices, credits, payments, and account adjustments.
• Apply customer payments accurately and reconcile accounts receivable balances.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Perform monthly customer account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare AR aging, collection, and cash receipt reports.
• Research payment discrepancies and resolve customer billing issues.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Maintain accurate customer records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and analyze financial data using Microsoft Excel.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, cash application, or related accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with PivotTables, VLOOKUP, filtering, sorting, and data reconciliation.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of financial data and identify discrepancies.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance preferred.
