Location: Bannockburn, IL (Onsite, potential for hybrid after 90 business days)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000 annually
Schedule: Full-Time


We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Administrator to support and optimize our client's ERP environment. This individual will serve as the primary NetSuite resource within the organization, ensuring the platform effectively supports business operations across finance, inventory, supply chain, order management, and related functions.


The NetSuite Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, support, and enhancement of the NetSuite ERP platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a process improvement mindset, and experience supporting business operations within a manufacturing, distribution, retail, or similar environment.


This role will partner closely with leadership, finance, operations, supply chain, and external vendors to ensure NetSuite is aligned with organizational goals while delivering optimal system performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

NetSuite Administration & System Management:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize the NetSuite ERP environment.
• Manage system configurations, custom fields, workflows, user roles, permissions, and reporting.
• Oversee system upgrades, enhancements, maintenance activities, and change management processes.
• Ensure platform stability, performance, and scalability.

User Support & Training:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for NetSuite support across the organization.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Manage user access, permissions, and security settings.
• Develop training materials and provide ongoing support to end users and department stakeholders.

Reporting & Data Management:

• Maintain data integrity through audits, validations, and best practices.
• Build and maintain reports, saved searches, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Support data migration, transformation, and cleanup initiatives.
• Analyze trends and provide insights to support business decision-making.

System Enhancements & Integrations:

• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to implement enhancements and new functionality.
• Support integrations between NetSuite and other key platforms, including eCommerce, CRM, logistics, manufacturing, and inventory systems.
• Manage customization efforts and ensure solutions align with business requirements.

Process Improvement & Optimization:

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and workflow enhancements.
• Evaluate existing business processes and recommend system improvements.
• Monitor system performance and resolve issues related to workflows, scripts, and processing times.

Security & Compliance:

• Maintain system security, user access controls, and compliance with company policies.
• Ensure proper governance and adherence to best practices for ERP administration.
• Support data protection initiatives and system audit requirements.

Project Management:

• Lead and participate in NetSuite-related projects, including upgrades, module implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate project timelines, testing, training, and deployment activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite Administration experience.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP functionality, including:
  • Financial Management
  • Inventory Management
  • Order Management
  • Supply Chain Operations
• Experience supporting NetSuite integrations with third-party systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting cross-functional business operations and end users.

Preferred

• NetSuite Administrator Certification and/or NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification.
• Experience within manufacturing, distribution, retail, consumer products, or similar industries.
• Knowledge of warehouse, inventory, and supply chain processes.
• Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and NetSuite customizations.
• Experience supporting eCommerce platform integrations.
