Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks on facility equipment and systems. This role is responsible for helping maintain a safe, efficient, and productive operation by ensuring equipment reliability, supporting new equipment installations, and maintaining appropriate parts inventory.


PLC troubleshooting experience required.
Ammonia/refrigeration experience preferred.


The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and capable of troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues in a fast-paced production environment.

• Follow all established safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Conduct routine facility and equipment inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure optimal operating conditions.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities according to established maintenance schedules and programs.
• Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain equipment to support production efficiency, quality standards, and operational reliability.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures in accordance with safety regulations.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete maintenance documentation and communicate equipment concerns as needed.
• Perform additional duties within the scope of the position as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance, mechanical, or related industrial experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to identify problems, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals preferred.
• Experience working with production or processing equipment preferred.
• Ability to operate maintenance tools, equipment, and vehicles safely.
• Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to support operational requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including refrigerated or cold-temperature conditions.
• Commitment to following all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements, where applicable.
