Operations Specialist (Registration & Compliance)

Location: Des Peres, MO (Onsite)

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential for extension and conversion)

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support registration and compliance activities within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring operational accuracy, regulatory adherence, and seamless execution of registration-related processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and maintain regulatory registrations, including U4 and U5 filings
• Support compliance-related operational tasks to ensure adherence to FINRA regulations
• Manage and respond to incoming registration-related phone calls and emails
• Execute day-to-day operational workflows with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
• Partner cross-functionally to support operational and compliance initiatives
• Monitor and ensure data accuracy within internal systems
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Prepare and communicate updates, reports, and documentation as needed
• Stay current on industry regulations, policies, and best practices

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in operations, compliance, or financial services
• Experience with FINRA registration processes (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a sense of urgency

Technical Skills (Preferred)

• Experience with systems such as APACS and Salesforce
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance workflows in financial services

Interview Process

• One round: Panel interview (45–60 minutes, virtual)
