Account Executive

We currently have an opportunity for an Account Executive to join our Personal Lines team in our Melville, NY office on a hybrid work schedule.

Job Purpose

We are seeking an Account Executive to manage a book of Premier Middle Market clients, processing daily account activity.

Functions & Responsibilities:

• Maintaining account folders in accordance with internal Quality Control guidelines
• Check policy coverages and endorsement on all new business and renewals for accuracy and relevance
• Complete specs, prepare proposals, policy summaries and reviews
• Ability to use various online rating systems
• Process endorsements, placement requests and invoicing: Credit, Debit, Monthly reports
• Review policies for accuracy and adequacy of coverage, including rating calculations
• Assist with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoices
• Handle or refer insured's and underwriter's questions
• Perform other specific duties as directed by the department manager &/or team leads
• Pursue a program of professional development

Qualifications:

• Detail oriented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insurance
• Good typing skills and computer literacy
• Ability to work within designated time frames
• Good interpersonal skills
• College degree or relevant work experience
• P&C License required

Required Skills:

• Strong computer skills; Excel & Word a must
• High Net Worth carrier experience Preferred
• Applied Epic Experience Preferred
• Required Experience: 3-5 years

The expected salary range for this position is $35.16/hr to $46.71/hr and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
