Line Cook – The Gatesworth
Full-Time and Part-Time | Pay varies by experience

Join the culinary team at The Gatesworth, one of St. Louis's premier senior living communities, as a Line Cook. This role prepares high-quality meals for residents, guests, and staff while helping deliver the exceptional dining experience our community is known for.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and plate meals according to written menus and standardized recipes

• Handle and store food safely, maintaining proper temperatures throughout preparation

• Follow kitchen policies and procedures set by the Executive Chef and Director of Food Service

• Keep your workstation clean, organized, and service-ready

• Support other kitchen duties as needed

Position Requirements:

• Culinary training and/or culinary education strongly preferred.

• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays required.

• Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience required.

• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.

• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and instructions accurately.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move kitchen supplies as needed.

• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
