ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR I (SUPERVISOR)

Position Details Position: Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor) Classification: ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR I (SUPERVISOR) Salary: $7,172.00 - $8,910.00 Work Location: Sacramento County Telework: Hybrid Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Job Description and Duties Oversee a team of two Associate Administrative Analysts, three Associate Accounting Analysts, two Accountant Trainees/Accounting Officers, and one Student Assistant. Perform complex tasks related to labor distribution and cost allocation processes. Maintain and utilize FI$Cal to support daily operational needs, including development, implementation, and improvement of queries and data extracts. Assist the Accounting and Fiscal Systems Branch with FI$Cal month‑end and year‑end processes. Participate in the County Expense Claim Reporting Information System (CECRIS) project using Agile‑SCRUM methodology. Contribute to procurement processes and monitor contract obligations to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations. Use the automated time reporting system, Employee Service Center, to streamline labor distribution and maintain fiscal integrity of cost allocations. Generate financial reports and analyses to support stakeholders and end users. Qualifications Experience in accounting, labor distribution, cost allocation, or related administrative functions. Proficiency with automated data entry systems and database management. Knowledge of state and federal accounting guidelines and procurement procedures. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Effective communication and supervisory skills.
