Overview Lakeshore Family Dentistry Greendale is looking for a Dental Assistant in Greendale, WI to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Position Overview:As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Responsibilities * Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures. * Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. * Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. * Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.. * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed) * Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory. Qualifications Qualifications: * One year on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation) * High school diploma or equivalent * Strong customer service and communication skills * Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn * Reliable and detail-oriented with a professional demeanor Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
