Lakeshore Family Dentistry Greendale is looking for a Dental Assistant  in Greendale, WI to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. What we offer:

• Competitive hourly pay: $23.00 with a prime-time rate of $30.00

  per hour for hours worked between 5:00 PM–7:00 PM

• Full-time Schedule:Tuesdays 7am-7pm (lunch 12pm-2pm), Wednesdays 2pm-7pm (no lunch), Thursdays 7am-7pm (lunch 1pm-2pm) & Fridays 7am-3pm (lunch 11:30am-12pm)

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• One year on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
• Reliable and detail-oriented with a professional demeanor

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
