Senior Analyst - Hi-Res, Eurofins Environment Testing Northern California, West Sacramento, CA

Job Description Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our team. The Senior Analyst will prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques and EPA methodology while maintaining our Quality Assurance programs and SOPs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Apply GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility. Demonstrate and promote the company vision. Ensure regular attendance and punctuality. Perform routine and advanced maintenance on instrumentation. Tune and calibrate instrumentation daily. Analyze samples and associated QC samples. Review, work up, and assemble supporting data. Read, understand, and carry out SOPs required by EPA or company methods. Perform additional responsibilities such as audit and verification with minimal supervision. Evaluate analytical system performance and recommend corrective actions to enhance efficiency. Train other departmental analysts in relevant procedures. Search technical literature for information to improve analytical performance. Use LIMS efficiently. Prepare working calibration standards. Use word processor on PC. Monitor and change gas cylinders. Review and amend departmental methods when required. Conduct all activities safely and efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic Minimum Qualifications 5+ years HR/MS experience in a production laboratory. At least 5 years of experience in extractions and/or instrumental chromatographic analyses for environmental testing. Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or a related field. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking). Skills and Abilities Exceptional technical skills, logical thinking, and deductive reasoning. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Accuracy in recording and transcribing data. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to learn new methods and techniques. Willingness to follow instructions and comply with company policies. Positive attitude toward quality control and safety procedures. Good understanding of chemical principles. Accurate management of numbers and calculator use. Set up and perform non‑routine standardized tests with minimal supervision. Demonstrated versatility, flexibility, and efficiency. Self‑motivated to improve technical skills and operations. Superior leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Lead projects to satisfactory conclusions on time. Consult with clients on work performed for them. Problem‑solving skills and ability to function under high stress. Understand cause‑and‑effect relationships. Capable of retaining large amounts of information. Compensation and Benefits Base salary range: $80,000 – $120,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications. Position is full‑time, exempt from overtime. Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with additional hours as needed.
