This is a part-time role.COMPENSATION: $20 - $22/hrPURPOSE:This position provides administrative and project management support to all members of the A. M. Castle & Co. legal department. Also assists with corporate governance, trade and compliance projects, database management, legal billing, matter management, and other critically important legal initiatives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (performs other duties as assigned):Assist with the management of compliance and training programs.Review and revise NDAs, Terms and Conditions, and other basic commercial contracts in Word.Update corporate policies.Manage legal billing and matter management in Legal Tracker.Assist with filing of annual reports, business licenses, and registrations.Review and track budget periodically.Assist with corporate records retention program.Perform other administrative duties as necessary in support of the legal department.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:General office environment (keyboard, mouse, telephone use)Manual dexterity (grasp, hand/wrist movement)Stand, walk, stoop, bend, reachPush/pullLight Lifting (25lbs or less)We are an Equal Opportunity EmployerPlease view Equal Employment Opportunity Posters provided by OFCCPCompany Overview: Founded in 1890, A.
