morriganAI shows them. Our AI Identity products — Crow, Raven, and Magpie — read the documents an organization already produces and reveal whether AI is actually creating value, whether the efficiency gains in a merger model are real before the deal closes, and whether AI is genuinely augmenting the people doing the work. We sell along two simultaneous pathways: first and foremost, directly to companies — Chief AI Officers, Chief People Officers, and their executive teams who need to know if their AI investment is working — and in parallel, to the deal ecosystem: PE and VC deal teams, M&A advisors, lenders, and the leadership teams of the companies they back.

We're hiring a founding revenue cohort — and one of them will become our Chief Revenue Officer.

Here's the model: three to five individuals join as a cohort of independent contractors (1099 — this is not a W-2 role). Your time is remunerated via a SAFE, plus commission on everything you close. Together, you build our go-to-market from scratch — channels, personas, relationships, positioning — and individually, you sell.

One cohort member is expected to advance to CRO (full-time, salaried, equity-compensated). That person won't just be the best closer — they'll be the one who demonstrates they can build the revenue organization : structuring sales teams that work, mentoring the professionals in them, and designing compensation that keeps a sales force sharp and motivated.

And the cohort isn't winner-take-all — because that's not how we think about talent. Cohort members who demonstrate real understanding of the business, a clear desire for where they fit, and the ability to make morriganAI better are exactly the people we want involved. For them, roles will be built as earned.

Here's the honest pitch: most people who want to shape a startup have to assemble one first — product, funding, board, support. morriganAI already has those. What we've kept is the flexibility and the genuine desire to be shaped by what you bring. This is your chance to put your own stamp on a company's growth without spending years building the platform you'd do it from.

You'll spend your time:

• Setting strategic revenue direction alongside founders and peers

• Identifying channels and personas across both pathways — enterprise AI and people leaders first, the deal ecosystem in parallel — anywhere the question of AI value gets decided

• Selling, closing, and managing customer relationships

• Showing us how you'd lead a team, not just carry a quota

You should apply if you are:

• In an active MBA program (strongly preferred, not required — MBA candidates will be weighted most heavily, with extra preference for an entrepreneurial focus or membership in an entrepreneurship, private equity, or sales club)

• Energized by performance-based upside and founding-stage ambiguity

• A collaborator who makes the people around you better

• Curious about the hardest go-to-market question in AI right now: proving value

How we pick the cohort: it picks itself. After individual interviews with our COO and CEO, remaining candidates join a group pitch-off session — our CEO and COO pitch you the company, you ask anything, and at the end every participant ranked-choice votes for the people in the room they'd most want to build with. The cohort is formed from that vote. This isn't a Hunger Games; it's how we selected our board, and it's why that board works: everyone in the room knew who they'd be working with, and chose them.

This is a rare structure by design. We're not hiring a rep — we're pressure-testing our next executive.
