Accounts Receivable Specialist The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and resolving discrepancies. Duties And Responsibilities Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any billing discrepancies Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records Prepare and analyze AR aging reports Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues Assist with month-end close processes and provide support to the accounting team as needed Education And/Or Work Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial role Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Physical Requirements Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully in accordance with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
