Must-Have: Experience in care of mother and baby, delivery of baby

Description:
RN - Labor & Delivery positions available.
Facility has 351 licensed beds.
No trauma designation.
It is a teaching hospital.
It is a chest pain center and stroke center.
The unit has 10 beds.
Patient types include labor, gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, and hypertension.
Patient ratios are 1:1 and 1:2 as per AWHONN standards.
Surgical tech is available on the unit.
Support within the department includes a surgical tech.
A charge nurse may or may not be present.
Phlebotomy is available.
IV/VAT team is not available.
RT services are available 24/7.
Intensivist services are available 24/7 if needed.
Fetal monitoring is available on the unit.
Technology and equipment in use includes EMR, IV pumps, and fetal heart monitors.
Unit-specific equipment includes various tools.
Floating is not required.
Scrubs are provided on the unit and must be changed in and out upon arrival and leaving.
The unit culture is strong.
