About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate General Counsel to play a pivotal role in the legal function of the organization. This position is ideal for a legal professional with a JD from an accredited law school, active bar membership, and experience in an Am Law 100 firm, particularly in transactional or commercial practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of commercial contracts, providing legal advice across various business verticals, and developing legal processes to support the company's growth. A pragmatic approach to risk, strong judgment, and the ability to communicate legal concepts clearly are essential. The role also involves drafting and negotiating complex enterprise SaaS and AI agreements, managing privacy compliance, and serving as a legal partner to different business functions. Applicants for the Associate General Counsel role at the company should have a deep expertise in commercial contract drafting and negotiation, with a preference for those who have experience in high-growth tech environments, SaaS/AI business models, and data privacy frameworks.
