Position HR Generalist - Mesa Facility Location: Mesa, AZ Reports to: HR Lead and Factory Director of Operations (DOO). This on‑site position requires regular business hours with no remote or hybrid flexibility. Occasional travel to other company factories up to 15% may be required. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including onboarding, payroll, compensation, progressive disciplinary, employee relations and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development. Provides day‑to‑day HR operations support—including employee orientation and exit, HR policies and processes, benefits administration (open enrollment, leaves, etc.), leave and accommodation management, and HR compliance. Supports recruiting functions by screening and facilitating the hiring of qualified applicants, completing job offers, job postings, and job descriptions. Responds to employment‑related inquiries from applicants, employees and supervisors, referring complex/sensitive matters to appropriate staff. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations. Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications – Experiences, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, industrial relations, labor relations, communications, or related field (preferred). Will consider experience on a year‑to‑year basis in lieu of a 4‑year degree. Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably 4‑5+ years progressive experience. HR experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment‑related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency with or a willingness to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems; Paycom experience highly preferred.
