REGISTERED NURSE HOUSE SUPERVISOR - PRN

To thrive as a PRN House Supervisor - Registered Nurse (RN) at Minden Medical Center, essential skills include strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You should be adept at problem-solving and decision-making, as your role involves managing staff and ensuring patient care excellence. A Bachelor's of Science in Nursing is preferred, along with three years of clinical experience that equips you with the practical knowledge needed in a supervisory role. Management experience will further enhance your ability to direct and support nursing staff in a dynamic environment. Proficiency with healthcare software and tools is crucial for efficient documentation and communication.
To meet licensing requirements, you must hold a current license from the Louisiana State Board of Nursing, and you will need to obtain BLS certification, as well as ACLS and PALS within six months of your start date, ensuring you are adequately prepared for emergency situations.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
Bachelors' of Science in Nursing preferred
Three years in clinical experience preferred
Management experience preferred
Current License from the Louisiana State Board of Nursing required
BLS required
ACLS & PALS required within 6 months
