Adecco Staffing is parterning with a local manufacturer in Warwick, RI seeking an SMT operator on 1st shift. The hours will be 7AM-3:30PM M-F with a pay range of $27-$32 depending on experience.

Job Description:
Immediate opening for an experienced SMT operator. This individual will be responsible for setup, operation and maintenance of SMT processes and equipment under guidance of the Production Supervisor .
Responsibilities:

• Setup of SMT and related equipment
• Read and understand process documentation
• Produce and submit 1st piece for approval
• Operate process equipment effectively to produce consistent high quality
• Inspect own work, detect defect trends and maintain high quality levels
• Hand placement of components
• Maintenance of SMT and related equipment
• Complete maintenance and process documentation
• Work closely with AOI to identify and resolve quality issues

Qualifications:

• Must be computer literate, able to type and comfortable working with menu driven equipment software
• Capable of completing assignments with minimum guidance
• Dependable and efficient with strong communication skills
• Knowledge of J-STD/IPC standards
• Knowledge of component identification

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  
  
• 2+ years SMT, preferably with MyData equipment.
  
  
• Certified IPC Specialist and/or proven ability to meet qualifications.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour
