About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be the senior financial leader, responsible for a wide range of core financial functions, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, lender compliance, and cash flow management. This role demands a hands-on, player-coach approach, with a focus on both historical financial accuracy and forward-looking strategic insight. The Vice President of Finance will also be a key business partner to ownership, providing financial analysis to support decision-making in areas such as acquisitions, financings, and capital structuring. Strong leadership, a high level of accountability, and the ability to operate in a lean, high-accountability environment are essential. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have an undergraduate accounting degree, with a Master's degree preferred, and a CPA and/or MBA also preferred. A minimum of 7 years' experience in real estate investment, private equity, or related fields is required, with a demonstrated progression into a senior finance leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate accounting, underwriting, operational reporting, investment performance analysis, and financial modeling. Experience with debt structures, lender requirements, and financing processes is also necessary. The role requires a detail-oriented, execution-focused individual with the ability to build and maintain financial systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure. The candidate should be hands-on, highly accountable, and capable of exercising sound business judgment in an entrepreneurial environment.
