Job Details
- Target Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Through 12/31/2026 (extension possible)
- Work Hours: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $32.70/hr
Position Summary Support the Healthcare Navigator team by handling administrative, intake, and documentation workflowsessential to ensuring patients' charts are accurate, complete, and ready for prompt scheduling and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Request and obtain medical records from external providers.
- Manage inbound radiology and clinical documentationupload to Cerner patient charts.
- Create new patient profiles in Cerner; organize and populate records.
- Monitor referrals, escalate urgent cases to Healthcare Navigators.
- Manage group email and fax inboxes; upload/docs or re-route as needed.
- Send registration/patient info to new patients.
- Assist with insurance/authorization paperwork.
- Maintain patient preparedness and workflow efficiency; support additional admin tasks.
Desired Qualifications
- Education: HS Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
- Experience:
- Healthcare back-office or clinical admin experience (ENT/OHNS a plus)
- Familiarity with EMR systemsespecially Cerner.
- Skills:
- High attention to detail, strong organization and efficiency.
- Independent worker; follows established processes.
- Good communication, documentation, and computer skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel), document handling (PDFs, scans), e-fax platforms.
