Are you an experienced CNC Programmer and Machinist looking for a permanent opportunity in the beautiful Foothill Ranch, CA? Join our team and apply your world-class techniques to manufacture custom injection mold components using CNC milling equipment. This role offers stability and growth within a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up and operate automatic CNC machines and manual machines as needed.
- Create CNC programs with CAM software.
- Perform general mold repair work, machining, grinding, and some mold preventative maintenance and inspection.
- Collaborate with Mold Design Engineers and Mold Tool Room Supervisor to develop efficient relationships.
- Solve problems related to materials, work-holding arrangements, machine settings, fabrication methods, and production processes.
- Read and interpret complex CAD drawings/specifications of injection molds and part models.
- Design and build jigs and fixtures as needed.
- Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain clean working areas.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of CNC Programming & Machining experience, primarily in injection molds.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Experience with Microsoft applications and injection mold maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to perform complex set-ups and work in a team environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work under pressure.
Preferences
- Technical Trade School education.
- Experience with DMG Mori Seki and Mitsubishi EDM (Wire & Sinker).
- Proficiency in Pro E and/or Solidworks, Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing, and 3D Modeling.
