Logistics Coordinator

Insight Global is currently hiring a Logistics Coordinator for a large manufacturing client in the Sandston, VA area. This role will be a 6 month contract but could have the opportunity for extension based on workload. It will require working Monday through Friday during standard work hours and will be a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite! The ideal candidate will have at least 2 or more years of experience in logistics operations/coordination and strong knowledge of incoterms. Required Skills & Experience 2 years of experience working in commercial logistics/supply chain importing and exporting execution of the following: Customs duty & import VAT (value-added tax) rules regarding cross border shipments and invoicing Working knowledge of proper procedures and processes related to all INCOTERMS Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Job Description Coordinating door-to-door equipment deliveries from internal and external suppliers Booking trucks Following up on shipments Approving shipping invoices for payment Tracking shipments ad-hoc (import & domestic) and reporting to stakeholders Tracking and reporting equipment delivery status Reviewing and approving invoices from carriers and freight forwarders #J-18808-Ljbffr
