We are partnered with a leading middle‑market investment bank and seek an Investment Banking Associate to join its highly active Energy team in Dallas, Texas. About the Associate Role As an Associate you will work closely with senior leadership, including Managing Directors and Vice Presidents, and partner with dedicated analyst resources to execute a robust pipeline of transactions. About the Team The Energy team focuses primarily on M&A transactions, with additional exposure to debt advisory assignments. The group is led by senior bankers with deep sector expertise and maintains a strong reputation across the energy industry. Key Responsibilities Support the execution of M&A and strategic advisory transactions within the energy sector. Build and review complex financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials. Prepare client presentations, marketing materials, and board‑level deliverables. Coordinate due diligence processes and manage transaction workflows. Interact directly with clients, prospective clients, and transaction counterparties. Mentor and oversee analysts throughout the deal process. Qualifications Current 2nd or 3rd year Investment Banking Analyst or 1st year Investment Banking Associate. Energy sector experience is strongly preferred, ideally within Exploration & Production (E&P) or a closely related energy vertical. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Demonstrated interest in building a long‑term career in Dallas. Why Join?
