Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist

Join our team in Asheville, NC. You will function as a member of a cardiac surgical team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac procedures. You will prepare the operating room, ensure sterile technique, set up and maintain specialized cardiac instrumentation, and support patient safety throughout procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent certified surgical technologist credential.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment. Certification and CVOR experience are mandatory.
• Experience with cardiac surgical instrumentation, sterile processing, and assisting during open heart and interventional cardiac procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotic-assisted cardiac procedures preferred.
• Prior experience in a Level II trauma center or tertiary referral hospital preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift schedule: Days 0600-1630.
• Position requires functioning within a cardiac operating room (CVOR) setting.
