ADMIN, BOOKKEEPER (FULL TIME)

Position Overview ADMIN, BOOKEEPER (full‑time) – immediate hiring. Location 200 S Central Campus Drive, Rm 30, Salt Lake City, UT 84112 (University of Utah) Schedule Full‑time and part‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Varying shifts available between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM, with additional hours for specific locations. Requirements 1–2 years of accounting, data entry, and Excel experience. Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Pay Range $24.00 to $26.00 per hour. Job Summary Maintains a complete and systematic set of records of business transactions for the assigned business unit. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interacts with customers and resolves complaints, relaying relevant comments to supervisors. Represents the company in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Assists the Controller with reports and weekly closing procedures. Verifies, allocates and posts details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files. Summarizes details in separate ledgers or computer files and transfers data to the general ledger, reconciling and balancing accounts. Compiles records to report cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other metrics pertinent to business operations. Calculates employee wages from time cards and submits payroll registers for payment. May prepare tax reports. May compute type and mail monthly statements to customers.
